Get The Club Ready Weekend
2026 Season
With the cricket season just around the corner, we’re getting the club ready and would love some help from our members. We’re planning working bees over two weekends in April, and there are a number of jobs to be done around the club. Whether you can spare an hour, a morning, or a whole day, any help would be greatly appreciated. Many hands make light work, and your support will help set us up for a great season ahead.

Welcome to Yelverton Bohemians Cricket Club
Championing Cricket for All Ages & Abilities
We are a village cricket club run by volunteers, dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of cricket in our community. With a proud history and a strong commitment to inclusivity, we offer opportunities for players of all ages and abilities to enjoy this great game. Whether you are a seasoned cricketer or new to the sport, we have something for everyone.
Youth Cricket
Ages 5+
We have teams across all ages as well as being part of the ECB All Stars Cricket and Dyanmo's Cricket programmes.
We have qualified coaches ready to help all ages develop skills both sporting and socially.
Adult Cricket
12+
We have three DCL Men's teams competing in the D West; G West & H West divisions. We also have a Sunday friendly team along with a Plymouth & District evening 20/20 team.
All of this means we can offer opportunities for players of all skill levels to participate in competitive cricket.
Women & Girls Cricket
A local women’s and girls’ softball cricket team, the Moorland Maidens, trains regularly at our ground, providing an excellent focal point for female participation in the sport. While softball cricket differs slightly from traditional cricket, the team helps foster skills, teamwork, and a love of the game among women and girls in the community. Their presence also presents an opportunity to build on this foundation, encouraging more players to get involved and potentially establishing a pathway towards forming a full women’s and girls’ cricket program in the future. With continued support and promotion, the Moorland Maidens could become a central part of growing the sport locally and inspiring the next generation of female cricketers.
